Written on 7:31 AM by Admin
Jenna Wolfe is the TV anchor and resident fitness fanatic for NBC’s Weekend Today. Her demanding assignments have her throwing punches on American Gladiators and racing up the steps of the Empire State Building and she always pulls it off like a pro. Recently in Fitness Magazine she gave the readers the inside scoop as to how she keeps so fit. She aims to workout six times a week for at least an hour per session and she’ll incorporate various workouts such as boot-camp, weight lifting and cardio. More importantly, she never lets excuses come in to play when she’s on the road. She said,
“Since I spend one or two weeks a month on the road, I’ve learned to incorporate whatever’s around — a chair, a park bench — into my routine so my workouts don’t slide.”The 35-year-old keeps a protein-rich diet that includes foods like almond butter, almond milk, oatmeal, eggs, rice cakes, cottage cheese and steamed veggies. This may appear to be a rather strict diet but she does allow herself dessert every night to satisfy her sweet tooth. She said,
“I need dessert every night or I go crazy, so I save myself 200 calories for frozen yogurt or a cookie.”
